Raised in a union home by a welder father who served as a Union Steward and a hardworking mother, I grew up understanding the value of community, hard work, and advocacy. As a single mother who raised two kids in Southeast Albuquerque, in the same home I grew up in, I have lived the challenges and celebrated the triumphs alongside my neighbors. My commitment to our district is personal and driven by a lifetime of experiences and relationships here, where I am not only a public servant but also a mom, daughter, sister, and friend.
